UConnect® Features

The UConnect® system comes with a suite of features that each offer advanced entertainment, connectivity, and performance monitoring. This system helps make driving around Omaha feel shorter and more fun! Some of the features of the UConnect® system are:

• SiriusXM Guardian™ & Uconnect® Access: These available features allow you to connect with your vehicle like never before. Remotely start your car, lock or unlock the doors, and even sound the horn with your smartphone. You can also find your vehicle’s location and send directions from your phone to your UConnect® system.
• Audio Options: Use various audio options like SiriusXM™, Bluetooth® streaming, and HD Radio™ to find and play your favorite music. Connect up to ten devices to your UConnect® to really have some fun. 
• Available 4G Wi-Fi®: Your CDJR vehicle may take you on the road less traveled, but that doesn’t mean you have to be disconnected from the world. The built-in Wi-Fi® hotspot in the UConnect® will let you check your email, browse Instagram, and see how your favorite team is doing in the playoffs.
• Voice-Command: Send hands-free texts and calls, set up navigation, and play your favorite tunes all with voice-command. 
• Navigation: Use 3D maps with turn-by-turn directions to get to your Bellevue destination with this available feature. You can also receive traffic and weather reports from SiriusXM® Traffic Plus and Travel Link.
• Entertainment: In certain CDJR models, you can use the UConnect® Theater so your passengers can watch movies, go online, or play games on one of the dual 10-inch touchscreens. You can also connect your Apple or Android device to the theater system. 

Can You Turn UConnect® Off?

The UConnect® system is always on when your CDJR vehicle is, but you can turn off or mute certain parts of it. The screen and radio can be turned off, and text message alerts can be silenced by tapping the phone button saying “Setup, incoming SMS message announcement,” and responding “Yes,” when the system asks you if you want it turned off. You can use this same dialog to turn off other systems on UConnect® that you want to shut off. Keep in mind, however, that some systems may not be able to be turned off completely.
